Roofing Inspections
Before every roofing project we start with a thorough inspection of your roofing system. We inspect your current shingles, what type they are, how many layers there are, and we also inspect all of your flashing, and soffits. We're looking for any signs of water intrusion or trouble areas that we'll need to pay careful attention to when installing your new roof.
Roof Tear Off & Disposal
Tearing off of your old shingles and disposal will be included in our roof replacement estimate. We will load all of the old shingles into a dumping trailer for proper disposal. We also go over your gutters and your lawn/garden with large magnets that will collect any dropped roofing nails that were pulled out with the old shingles. Cleanliness and safety are two of our top priorities. Once your old shingles are off we'll be able to do an inspection of your roof decking (or sheathing as some call it), looking for any signs of rot. We can replace rotten roof decking prior to the installation of a new water barrier and shingles.
Roof Flashing & Ventilation
In some cases roof flashing can be reused but most of the time we rebuild the flashing from scratch to ensure the project is completed properly and meets all manufacturers specifics for the roofing shingles you've chosen. Proper flashing will be installed around chimneys, dormers, roof valleys, and anywhere else two surfaces meeting together will require proper flashing. We also check all of your roof vents and we can install new roof vents and ridge vents where required.

Taylor and crew did an excellent job rebuilding my garage after a storm blew a tree onto it and partially collapsed it. The entire tear down and rebuild took only 4 1/2 days. Their meticulousness and attention to detail was greatly appreciated. The whole crew was friendly and worked really hard. I would highly recommend Brad's Construction .

It was time for roof replacement, and Brad gave us an estimate a few years ago prior to Covid, but the project was forgotten until this year. I asked for another estimate this year- Brad and Taylor quickly responded, and our roof is done! We recently contracted with Brad's Construction for a complete siding, roof, gutters, soffit, facia and skylight project. Our home was hail damaged and it was going to be an insurance claim. We had Erie Insurance and they were extremely difficult. Taylor stepped in and helped negotiate our insurance claim to get us the best possible settlement. He didn't have to do this, but he did and went above and beyond. We were very happy with that. Then the time came for the actual work to be done. I have worked with contractors in the past and I must say that the work these professionals did was outstanding. I'm a very detail oriented or "picky" consumer. I warned Brad ahead of time that I was a perfectionist. That wasn't necessary on my part at all because from beginning to end of the project they were always one step ahead of my questions. Their cleanup was superb and they left our home looking the best it has in 30 years. I would recommend them to anyone. My next project will go to them. Brad's Construction resided my whole house and put in a new patio door along with doing some structural repair around the door opening.
